Staying away from family

I have never felt so vulnerable in my family, staying away from my wife and daughter makes me realize how much I love them. Sometimes we all take relationships for granted. I have promise d my self now, that when ever we start living together, I will cherish every moment with them.

Living alone makes me remember, how easy my life was when we were living together. She took care of every need of me without me asking for it. Even though, she worked as hard as me, but never she missed out on any opportunity to ensure that the house was in order, the meals were cooked on time and most important, she was always there for me.

God, how much I want her to be with her again, and start living my life all over again.

It is so hard to explain what makes me love my wife so much. I guess, there is no reason to love someone. You just love them.

Meeting My Family

Last week I went to meet my family on Diwali, I met my wife and daughter after 1 month, Diwali is festival of lights celeberated in India. I was not able to get to Delhi on a direct flight so I traveled to Mumbai at midnight to catch an early morning flight. I was lucky enough to get a good bus, and my journey was quite peaceful. I reached my house at around noon, I was so excited to be with my family, I wanted to sleep for a while as I had no slept for the past 28 hours. I slept for around 4 hours and woke up eager to play with my daughter. It’s already few hours since I came to meet my family and thoughts of leaving them were already crossing my mind. I was leaving to get back to work in Pune within 48 hours of arriving. I m not sure when will the pain of living away from my family will end.

My Wife’s a Super mom

Today is Hoiee, this day a mother keeps day long fast for her child. My Wife has pledged not to eat anything for the entire day for the sake of long life and a good future of our daughter. Our daughter is 7 months old.

Few days back my wife fasted on Karvachauth and my wife vowed not to have a drop of water. She fasted for my well being and long life. It was so difficult for her as she could only complete her fast once she sees my face and I was a 1000 km away from her. In the night after looking at moon she looked at my photograph and completed her fasting. Without me around her for last 10 months, she is living and raising our 7 months old daughter all by herself with sheer love, determination and grit.

I call my Wife a super woman and super mom
